It's ****ing pathetic over on Twitter right now. Toon fans turning on each other over politics. This bullshit brings out the worst in people.

That is what I hate most about the way we are going these days. People have always disagreed about politics but now it has to involve insults and arguments instead of debates too often (on all sides).

Don't care who wins, Not voting, all a bunch of crooks, they all tell us to vote, what would be better is if no one voted at all and put and end to this farce

Will be funny when the liberals lose though, I love it when they march in London with their little EU flags crying about what the older generation did to them, funny as fook, It's like old people shouldn't vote and we shouldn't have a democracy because people genuinely get angry and upset when other people don't agree with them.

The system needs a shake up, too many MP's too many constituencies, lets simplify it and lower the cost, I'd love to know what the country spends a year on politics, especially the last 3 years where we've had two elections and a massive referendum

If you don't vote then it's unlikely to change.

If no one voted it would change. It's just I cant convince all these people who say "if you don't vote then it's unlikely to change" those people are getting in my way of changing politics for the better.
Great in theory but I think the concept falls down in practice. Can't see the May Monster or the Corbyn Conqueror not voting for themselves.

For me people don't have to vote for a particular person but if you can't pick someone you want to vote for then you should still attend in order to "destroy" your vote and that way you are still having your say about your dissatisfaction with the candidates. I did that once and wrote a short paragraph or two on the ballot paper as to why I thought the overall policies of all parties being advanced were wrong.

:)

This is what I was going to do at the start of the election until Corbyn won me over. Much better to spoil your paper than to just not vote. Spoilt papers get counted and it would send a massive message to Westminster if the number of spoiled papers was a significant amount. That way they couldn't blame laziness or people not caring. A lot of people do care but don't have anyone who represents their views.

"Spoil", I knew there was a word other than "destroy" but just couldn't think of it. On reflection it would be better if people went in to "destroy" the ballot paper might make it more interesting at the Polling Stations with Fire Engines being called out for another "destroyed" ballot form incident.

:)
