My hatred for New Labour cannot really be described in words. What it did with its 'immigration' policy to some areas of this country was utterly criminal and the likes of Blair, Roche, Straw, Mandelson, etc should have to face years behind bars. To vote for Corbyn, a man who has never favoured peace - despite the bullshit that he now claims - simply hung on the coat tails of Marxist Provos or Islamic fundamentalists along with the likes of the vile Diane Abbott, a Marxist lunatic in McDonnell, among many others - I just couldn't vote for Labour. I'm no fan of the Conservatives but I couldn't imagine the disaster of Labour getting back in. Its an anathema to me.

I daniel blake made my mind up ...

Under the tories the rich have become richer ( tax avoidance ) ..the poor have become poorer.

    simple as ...
The cuts hit the poor and working class ,and for what the country is in even more debt .

when people learn this ..these only care about themselves and the south ...

It'd look properly bad if she turned out to have a really serious illness - all the 'oh, she couldn't vote cos she had a migraine! diddums' and the 'she can't remember a number so she must be an idiot' people would be rather red-faced.

Funny though how she was photographed outside the tube , phone to her ear, whilst on her way to an interview on Womans Hour. This was a mere 20 mins or so before going on air. Even Labour don't trust her.
It looks like their garden tax will see my council tax bill go up by over £2000. Lots of us have worked hard to be brought up from Walker to be able to afford a house with a garden and now Corbyn's going to tax it. Don't kid me he's for the working man, Once a Marxist, always a Marxist. I reckon he'll get his mates from the IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah to look after policing and the county's security. The man is a joke and it's no wonder even his own party didn't want him anywhere near a front bench role.
    UKIP for me.

The land value tax is not a garden tax. It's a replacement for council tax and aimed at stopping property speculators hanging onto parcels of land for years and stopping new home building, and it's meant to give some control to the property bubble in the UK. Read around it using the search term 'land value tax' instead of 'garden tax' and you'll see.

I'd be interested where you get the £2000 figure from. I'm not personally sure how much the land my home is built on is worth, or how you'd find that kind of thing out.

Yes, but surely you'd agree with his point about Hezbollah taking over policing the country? Who could deny that will happen?

For what it's worth, anyone still undecided can see how their own opinions on policies match up against the main parties here..

    https://uk.isidewith.com/political-quiz

I don't think my results would be typical of this board <laugh>

    I am....

    77% Labour
    76% Green
    74% LIberal Democrat
    35% Conservative
    29% UKIP

I had already decided to vote Labour because of the constituency I live in, but really surprised I am not mainly Lib Dem as I would have seen them as being the ones I agreed with most.

    72% Labour
    70% LIberal Democrat
    64% Green
    50% Conservative
    45% UKIP

Probably about right - left leaning centrist.

    It will.
Same with Brexit... the vote got cast... a few refused to accept and beeled... it all died down.... everyone got on with life.
