A bit random but does anyone remember the Magdalen St indoor market, which used to stand where Roys is (or very close by) near the flyover? A google search is completely unproductive.
Thanks in advance <ok>
I must of been about 14/16yrs old when that was there so as late as 1986/88 had quirky stalls i remember

Ref:The water leaks etc.
After a brief cold spell 1000's of people are still without water. The water companies once again are blaming everything but there selves.Lack of maintenance and non renewal of ageing infrastructure causes a lot of the problems. As a youngster I can recall regular Electric failures, but never water failures, even in 1963 when temp were worse and for longer periods.
We experienced a water failure 2 days ago and the problem was located in exactly the same spot as a failure we experienced 2 yrs ago.It was a fracture in a pipe 4ft below ground. Was the original repair not completed properly??
Water companies along with all utilities just don't give a toss about the customers only share holders.

Russia once again puts 2 fingers upto the rest of the world with the statement by Putin by his comments
"Why do we need a World if Russia ceases to exist?"
This man is the most dangarous individual and a nuclear holocaust is not beyond him.
He has brainwashed his countrymen to believe that the rest of the world is anti Russia.and has created a political system where any one with alternative views suddenly dissapear. He has made himself the new Tzar.
The World Cup should be abandoned and a new tournament reorganised for next year. The Sergei Skripal
poisoning shows how Russia works and never forgets.

Just seen this on a Cromer dedicated Facebook page.
Serious or a wind up, I haven't a clue <yikes>

Is there still a helter skelter in cromer? If not right now, is it usually there in the summer? I'd like to feature Cromer as a destination in a TV advert but need to know about the helter skelter.

I have just been given my follow up appointment I have a pre op assessment on Tuesday 20th March and the op itself on Monday 9th April, nicely separated by my visit to Norwich

After that we will know what the outcome is likely to be <yikes>
