I don't think it's been open that long. I first looked yesterday afternoon and it only had about 200,000 signings. It's about a million this morning. Less than 24 hours later.
It's now been all over the morning news that the petition is out there. Be interesting to see what it goes up to today, if it is allowed to be left open.
There is no way we are going to ban Trump from entering the UK , he was walking round holding our prime minister's hand talking about our special relationship on Friday.
We should at least wait for Trump to actually do something before judging him .

Even US citizens on home soil .

Just because Trump is a collosal bellend should not mean he cannot visit. As Donuts has pointed out, we let in and pander to, far worse people. But he has been elected to office, he now holds the purse strings of the most powful nation in the world. So unless you are one of those that searches out clothing, food and other goods only produced in the most ethical of ways, uses only green energy and materials, has never said or done anything remotely sexist, racist or offensive. I suggest you get off your collective high horses and see what he can actually do? I actually think that his policy on carefully vetting imigrants from known terrorist hotspots is a very sensible policy, especially in light of what has happened since central Europe opened its flood gates.
