Just heard on the news that they are going to drill through from another route, as bringing them out using SCUBA is NOT an option.

    What a mammoth operation - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-44760896

Edit - Just seen this - A Hollywood movie?
There's no time to waste in Hollywood, as the arrival of two American producers has proved.
Pure Flix, a US film company, has got its partner Michael Scott and co-producer Adam Smith in Tham Luang and they're already conducting pre-interviews for a possible movie project, according to news agency AAP. Asked if their actions might be seen as insensitive, Mr Smith said: "There's going to be other production companies coming in so we have to act pretty quickly."
We're unable to confirm if a film is actually in the works but we'll find out soon enough.

It does seem insensitive, but I'm sure there will be several filmmakers trying to see if it will work.

How much? Jesus wept! I think a reasonable pay cut would be in order, shall we say 95%?

I turn off the bits in between the football, I can't bear to listen to them repeating the same old (obvious) things. No wonder there's very little in the way of decent drama anymore. They say they're hard up, yet pay out these ridiculous sums.

It depends on Market forces. If Sky sports might pay a lead anchor similar then if he is perceived as top talent then he must be payed accordingly to retain his services. I do agree though it is too much, but then if they need to retain him rather than bow to some bright spark who thinks bloody Balding should do it then pay him £3m pa!
General presenting content and styles will not suit everone, but for all those who switch off the bits with pundits, there might be more who like a bit of semi insiteful (OK a rarity) analysis. Just a series of goals every week with little intro or banter inbetween for many might be dull.

    Bah!

Totally changing the topic - I loved the tweet from 'Red 3' yesterday - 'Feels a bit naughty' as @RAFRedArrows flew over Heathrow, as normally they have to avoid it like the plague!!! <laugh>

Irrelevant but fascinating - best selling band or artist from each London borough.
If you removed Kathy Kirby (and her thick gloss lipstick)
you could organise the mother of all festivals from this little lot!! <laugh>
