Just seen this re Colman's keeping Norwich on its labelling - 'The news prompted Burton MP Andrew Griffiths to call for jars to ditch the famous Colman’s of Norwich branding, and instead replace it with Colman’s of Burton' #whatabuffoon Read all about it - http://www.edp24.co.uk/business/mp-calls-for-norwich-to-be-scrapped-from-colman-s-branding-1-5345193
Weirdly enough I would always buy Colman's over cheaper generic own brands because of the Norwich connection. I'll just get Aldi own brand now Unilevar can **** off.
Totally off topic and for all you grammar pedants - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/5BrQRSTxg6cslZKcrMnfc40/the-apostrophe-quiz I got a paltry 8!!
I got 2 and 6 wrong - I'm sure I saw something a few months ago that if a person's name ended with an 's', you had to add an 'es', but I'm happy with my result!!!!
And on another topic - anyone want one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/162467270329 A bit too far away methinks!!!!
To whom it may concern, I need to get something off my chest. I have been ignoring this for a couple of months hoping it would go away but I have now done what I should have done when it first happened. I have been peeing blood off and on since October so today I finally bit the bullet and made an appointment at my surgery and I have been given an urgent referral to the urology department at my local hospital with a promise of being seen within two weeks. I realise and accept that not many of you will be interested but I am at least sure that three or four of you will be. Hopefully I can give a positive update in due course.
All the best Dave, hope it turns out to be relatively easily rectified and your pee returns to a more normal ale colour. Bah!
Must be a worry for you Dave and hope you don't have to wait too long to get your referral and get everything back to normal.
Sorry to hear of your worries, Dave. Sending out positive thoughts, I'm sure you'll be fighting fit when we see you in a couple of months.
Just heard from the hospital, two appointments for next Monday, urology in the morning and cystoscopy in the afternoon. That was quick
I've been down that road mate it ain't pleasant but it needs to be done. They don't let you leave hospital until you've been to the loo after you've had the procedure done, when you go you'll know why !
