SAF has announced he will retire at the end of the season.

Man City appear to be ready to appoint Pellegrino as manager replacing Mancini

Never say never in football but I can't really see United going for David Moyes due to his lack of Champions' League experience - personally I think he is a terrific manager and ultimately would do a very good job ...

I just think that United see the PL as the first priority.

Clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City seem to appoint for the Champions League.

Not so sure - I think Liverpool's 5 is a distinct irritant to the United hierarchy ...

They didn't really seem too upset to be dumped out so early this season though. Obviously they wanted to win it, but I think they see the PL as the main goal.

Lokks like you were right AKCJ - at least according to lunchtime radio. David Moyes to be announced in due course - Everton remaining tight-lipped but won't deny. apparently the bookies took 'substantial bets' on David Moyes becoming the next Man Utd manager over the last few days. Hope you did yiour wedge LOL.

Apparently Nigel Pearson is being quoted at 5,000,000/1 to be the next Everton manager by FickleBookie.com - only kidding - before Nigel's Nymphettes start getting period pains again <doh>

It would not surprise me if that was his price.

Lets hope that the new manager gets wind of our good development of Man U youngsters, no doubt sir Alex will put a good word in for Pearson.
