PSR and FFP sorted by £10 Mill compo and £40 Mill fee - then loaned back in Jan - ridiculously long contract to avert suspicion <laugh>

This weekends game really is a must win. The following 3 games are tough to say the least and I’d be happy if we picked up a point from any of them. Wolves will be without their two best outfield players in Ait Nouri and Cunha so it’s a real chance to pick up all three points, I just hope we attack and don’t sit back and try to be cagey.

Rumour has it that we might give a debut to 15 year old 'wonder kid' Jeremy Monga ... let's hope so <cheers>
 
No Buenanotte? ... and not even brought on as one of the first 4 subs - might be that Brighton have indicated he'll be recalled in Jan, so Ruud not wanting to rely on him to then have to start again ... but **** me, we are desperate for his skill and invention ...

Even if Brighton might recall him we need players like him on the pitch now. We can look for alternatives later if we need to, but right now he's our brightest midfielder and we need all means available to get points on the board.

<laugh> Don't think he's started a PL game for Chelsea (hardly surprising withtheir squad) and he didn't play many for us as we had Tielemans and Maddison in front of him ...

I'd glady have him back - he had double figures for both goals and assists last season and has a terrific engine ...

As I said before Championship player without doubt. The fact that he can’t get in the Chelsea team is telling IMO particularly as he followed your manager there. I’ve seen him a few times and never been impressed I’m afraid.

<laugh> Fernandez and Caceido both cost over £100 million, Lavia was over £60 million, Cole Palmer was close to £50 million (and has unquestionably been their best player and would have a current market value on par with the first two) ...

Who would you have Maresca drop out of those?

Fact Maresca DID take him speaks volumes IMO ... he would already have known how good Pamer was from his Citeh days and everybody knows how good Fernandez and Caicedo are ...

... but football is all about opinions....
 
Well my prediction league comments didn't age well, unless I just had the teams back to front. I know we shouldn't pick on individuals but Ward cant possibly start again. And what madman thought Skipp was worth 20 million.
