Nigel Pearson has been named head coach of Belgian second-tier side OH Leuven.

Surprised no English club has taken a chance on him.
Scared of his media antics I guess. Really pleased he's back though, got so much time for him after how he led the building of the whole club not just the team.
What's really
Interesting here is that the relationship with the owners has clearly been patched up or wasn't what is was made out to be all along. This could spell good news for us as my understanding is that they are also a feeder club for us with the talent that has come through Belgium in recent years. If Nige is going to do a similar job (albeit without Walsh) they could get some serious talent in that in turn we could pick up

Odd one this, don't think anyone would have seen it coming. I guess that they kept a good relationship after his sons antics in Thailand.

A tinge of appreciation from our owners that he got us to the prem? Maybe.

Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, chief executive of King Power International, said: "Nigel is an incredibly good manager with a wealth of knowledge, good people skills and a strong winner's mentality. He will put OHL on track for the next few years."

I can only assume the people skills refers to his player and staff not the media <laugh> I think I like him even more for ranting at the media as they are all a bunch of twats anyway. Granted it'd be better if done as manager of another club!

Is worth putting a quid in it tbh.

If we carry on the way that we have been playing, can see Shaky getting the boot.
.. to be instantly re-hired as Pearsons assistant manager <laugh>

Shakeys hardly going to get the boot though, our performances have been pretty good against tough opposition, both Arsenal and Man U needed subs to win the games, the only blip was Huddersfield who have outplayed everyone bar WHU this year and are still on a promotion high.
