Not a bad first half especially given the number of fringe players we started with against a virtual WBA first 11. Mahrez looked interested but tried about 4 too many drag backs. Nice goal though. When the teams came out all the players had a mascot with them except Mahrez and Slimani who seemed to just wander on at their own pace.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about it. Definitely reminded me of tennis as you say but in tennis it's used to enable the 2 point gap easier.
Is there plans for this format to be more widely used do we know?

Is going to be the standard across all FIFA competitions - can see it happening in ours as well.

Personally I'm not too fussed - will be a laugh when everyone gets confused the first time we have it in one of the cups.

Have you seen that the premier league have banned pitch designs this year? How boring, our pitches were something to be admired
