Good game, could have gone so many ways. Man United scored 3 goals against the run of play but overall I think they were the better side. Siva was back to his best and I thought Rio Ferdinand had a rare good game. Tevez changed the game.
I think it was more of a case of Fergie beating Mancini - He got team selection and tactics spot on, whereas......................

He only got booked because the Forest supporters gave him stick all day and they cried when he picked the ball up. Then when he threw it away (it landed in the centre circle) they cried again. They probably shouted louder appealing for Kasper to be sent off rather than celebrating the goal.

We never really had a chance with Jelavic. Annoyed me how our fans thought he wouldn't be good enough because he played in a 'mickey mouse' league whereas Beckford (who only really scored goals in League one, a mickey mouse league) had them going loopy with excitement.
If the rumours are to be believed, he tried with an outrageous bid of £9 Mill, but Jelavic wouldn't come

Oh I did want him, but in comparison to Jelavic? No chance. I felt like Beckford was our 4th choice. Behind Maynard, Long and Jelavic. Still had much higher expecations of him.
The thing was Jelavic came out of nowhere. It just came out that we had a bid rejected, we wasnt even linked with him and before that I had never heard of him. We went after Maynard for miles too long. Looking back if only Sven went for Jordan Rhodes
