Both Kompany's and Johnson should of been reds. Its alright going they didnt make much contact but every footballer from the age of 10 is told you cant go in 2 footed, you cant jump off the floor and you cant tackle from behind as they are all red card offences

Kompany knew there was going to be a decent chance of a red but still done it, we didnt have much complaints when Matt Mills got sent off at Birmingham for it. 2 footed tackles arent allowed in the game regardless of weather you take the ball or not
 
Leicester City’s Michael Ball has been charged with Improper Conduct in relation to comments made on Twitter on 29 November 2011.

The charge is that Ball acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute. It is further alleged that the breach included a reference to a person’s or persons’ sexual orientation.

Ball has until 4pm on Monday 16 January 2012 to respond to the charge.

Oh dear, he hasnt done anything for us all season and now he has got himself fined for comments on twitter.

I have checked his twitter page back and i havent seen anything that bad on that day so either hes deleted it or the FA has got their knickers in a twist over nothing

Anyone see MOTD last night? pointing out how inconsistent the refs are with those kind of 2 footed lunges. Most (if not all) of them should be straight reds but some of them didn't even get yellows. Bizarre

Anyone who has played footy at any level knows sometimes it happens where the player over stretches or comes in too fast and I would guess most players don't mean to hurt other players but the FA needs to make a ruling on them if they ever want to stamp it out
 
How good is Ali Al Habsi. He is single handedly giving Wigan a chance to stay up again. I think he is the best keeper in the prem at the minute with Tim Krul just behind

Yeah he is a top class keeper.

No idea why Bolton let him go so cheap.
 
To be honest a lot of the keepers found at the lower end of the PL and clubs you would "expect" to see there are pretty decent. I think Vorms form so far has been excellent!!!

Yeah Vorm was a great find. When you look at the rubbish keepers Arsenal and Man U have and the quality some of the lower teams have.

Wojciech Szczesny (what a name) has been fairly decent this season. Although not a scratch on Vorm and Al Habsi

He's not been title winning class, not by a long chalk.

If United had Hart and City had De Gea then United would be at least 5 points clear. He has been superb for them and has saved them points against QPR, Wigan, Liverpool and Fulham.

I rate Joe Hart but he makes some silly mistakes from time to time. There was that England game where albeit Milner shouldnt of broke from the wall Hart shouldnt of got beaten at his front post. Andy King nicked the ball off him and scored. But then again what keeper doesnt

I dont think there is an English keeper that comes close to Hart now. If Kasper decided he wanted to play for England he would be our 2nd choice.

Kasper wouldn't be 2nd just yet.

But give him another year and he'll be top top class.
