I know Gally and his wife have had a lot of stick this season but what happened today is truly saddening.

As far as I understand, the couple were today expecting to welcome twins into the world but unfortunately the son (Luca) died shortly after and the daughter (Eva) is in intensive care in a critical condition fighting to stay alive.

RIP to Luca and best wishes to Eva and to Hayley and Paul. They deserve our support at this difficult time and I'm sure we all hope there can still be small glimmer of light at the end of this dark tunnel <rose>
 
Rivalries aside, nothing is more important than family. As a father of 2, deepest sympathy to the Gallaghers....Sincerely hope 'Eva' pulls through....
 
That's horrible.

I saw Marshall's undershirt read 'Thinking of you Gally'. I had no idea what it meant and I thought it was just banter.


But my thoughts are with you Paul, Luca, Eva and Hayley <rose>
 
Very sad news, thoughts with Paul & Hayley.

They said yesterday they were going for a scan & hoped it would be a few more weeks before the babies had to be delivered, as both were still under developed & Hayley was still receiving steroids to assist with their growth. Unfortunately this wasn't to be.

Best wishes to Eva.

I have lost a daughter at birth. It is absolutely devasting and my wife gets very down about it 9 years on.
My thoughts are with them
It is truly a thing if you've not gone through it is impossible to imagine/describe the hurt
 
Best wishes to them both and hopefully Eva will pull through.

Terribly sad news - thoughts and sympathy with Gally and his family
 
When Beckford scored he shouted into the SKY microphone "Thats on for you Gally"

And Ben Marshall was wearing a shirt saying "Thinking of you Gally"

Thank you for your messages, support and prayers. They seem to be working. Ava is still in NICU but is now managing to breathe on her own
