A slant to consider , that those early home games, may result in Man U and Chelsea still sounding out there game plan. Slow starting and therefore Vulnerable and they Do tend to kick on later rather than sooner. That could save Us from heavy defeats.

Surely the bookies didn't lose much? They'd have made loads on the big clubs not winning the it.
They did lose ****loads, and combine it with a Poor Cheltenham and a relatively poor Grand National which were punters meetings they need to be very cautious. 5000/1 was there to entice the 'silly bet', now it's finally come in you won't see that ever again, unless Paddy Power decide to use it as a marketing ploy.

I think its Paddy Power offering only £500/1 for us.

First four home games are Leicester, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea. <yikes>

It still hasn't sunk in when I see that list and forget that we're the best team on it.

Good luck chaps, if we keep our dynamic players then I think you'll find it tough. We were unreal away from home last season against sides like yourself.

I'd much rather have the points banked earlier in the season. There's 3 - maybe even 4 - potential 6 pointers there and that's a lot of stress at the end of a season.

We showed what having an easy run in can do in 14/15 to be fair!

When Bruce see's those first 4 home games and no sign of Ehab's chequebook I think he'll just **** it off and stay at his Portuguese villa instead.

If the four fixtures from 21st January don't help him make his mind up nothing will.

January
21/01/2017 15:00 Chelsea v Hull City

February
01/02/2017 20:00 Manchester United v Hull City
04/02/2017 15:00 Hull City v Liverpool
11/02/2017 15:00 Arsenal v Hull City

If Bruce is still here I hope he's a hell of a lot more positive than this. There's no point playing games if you think you've lost before you start. The problem with a lot of the big games is we lose an early goal and then it's considered game over. A different attitude and we offer more threat and maybe we haven't lost the game already at 0-1 and maybe don't even go that early goal down so easily.

Watford had a better attitude after going up and ended up safe without worries of going down. No doubt changes in the team are needed too, but it's just as much attitude and tactics. And if a lot more money is spent I really hope it isn't on a load of injured players as we have frequently seen in recent times.

What silly **** planned these?

We go to West Ham on the Saturday before Xmas - 17/12 a few days after we go to Sperz on Wed 14/12.
You can almost hear it now:
"Fack me, look at How, they ain't got no blinkin' fans mate"
