I'm also excited by what that guy says about youth development considering the wealth of youngsters we have on the same (list posted a while back) - some of them kindly rated considering they're youngsters (for example James Ward-Prowse is 57 rated, which sounds a bit crap but considering he's 16 years old and has never played is actually very favourable) so we could end up with a good little unit :D

Not a bad rating tbh.

I hope the youth thing is better this year, so completely new players etc!

Last year for example when Drogba retired it was the same player but with a different name, and for some reason when they turned into the new player they all had green boots... FAIL!

I'm very much in favour of bringing through some good old English players <ok>
 
The main thing I'm hoping they fix is finances. Couldn't take Saints to the top because I could never ever afford to bloody sign anybody! Ridiculous how every season they'd give me **** all squared whether I'd won the Championship or the League Cup or whatever. Prize money, sponsorship money and TV money is much needed.
 
Ive played the PES12 demo a few times, its feels about the same as pes06 with updated GFX (PES4 was always my fav version)

This FIFA12 demo feels much fresher, im too not sure about the new defending system but im sure ill get used to it. Still havent scored a goal but hit the posts a few times. Didnt like fifa11 too much, i couldnt score for toffee, I prefered Fifa10.

I agree. After staying up in the PL by the skin of my teeth, I expected a large sum to help push on and develop the squad. I received £4m :/ I had to make do with Leroy Lita and Blackstock up front. Still managed to stay up, received £10m. Bought some 80 rated black man, got relegated, then received £8m in the Championship, more than what i was given after my first promotion to the PL. :(

The new def system is ace, on FIFA 11 it was ****ing piss easy to skin the defenders or simply turn them with ease, now you either completely do the RB (example) or they blow you the **** away whilst winning the ball (the latter is what happens most of the 90 minutes). <laugh>

Indeed, it's much more realistic.
 
I hope they consider the financial side of clubs this time.

Ex. Saints are very well backed by the Liebherr family. Excellent finances. Money available if needed.

Pompey are not, and can barely afford a Cornetto...

I hope they consider all this!
 
read a lot about fifa 12 looks great. :D found out that steve humber (fifa designer) is a portsmouth fan, so i guess it is pompey get unlimited tranfers f*cking skates

Benjani, Lawrence and ...

Anyway, Lallana is better than any Pompey player. One of the best in this league, our Adam. Never judge by FIFA ratings when looking at player ability.

Not Benjani (can't remember his rating? Think he might be equal??) but Lawrence, Mullins and Huseklepp.
