    55% of £135m
    45% of £135m
    20% of £135m

It's not supposed to add up to 100%

Unless you go back up then you get the 100% of £135m in year 2 not the 45%. Then if you are relegated again..............:bandit:

Little wonder then that Lester, Southampton and Leeds will be 1.2.3 in the table come May....Hardly worth playing the season. Might as well promote them in August, cancel the season, and play tiddlywinks, instead.

Seems very concerning especially as Mguire is reported as saying in the HDM today that its promotion or bust for us this season. And that if we dont go up we would have to sell some assets.

Every club that doesn't have parachutes needs to develop players to sell on for profit to remain sustainable at the top end of the division.

Pretty sure most of us don't expect Philogene to be in the championship next season.

I had suspicions this may be the case given the money we've spent. £5 million on Philogene, a few million for Ömür, Giles has a £4.25 million option according to most media sources. That's not to mention wages. Our recruitment in January was brilliant but you got the feeling that Acun was spending like he was already on the throne (Premier League). If we don't go up, I do think we'll sell either Greaves or Philogene for a fee similar to what we sold KLP for just to balance the books.

Well promotion is a tall order. First we have to get the results that we have not had in a consistent manner all season. And then even if we are in the playoffs a lot of it will come down to luck. Lets face it in our last 2 efforts we got lucky with the Windass shot and and Diames outlandish finish. Lighting rarely strikes twice in the same place never mind 3 times. Theres optimism for you

Re selling when you need to sell seems you get less than if you dont want to sell unfortunately

Pretty sure a lot comes down to the wishes of the player, but ultimately it's the reality of being ambitious in the champ without the benefit of parachute payments. Everyone around us is in the same boat. Buy, develop, sell to create headroom, reinvest - rinse and repeat.

Philogene for example will want to look at his options if we get bids in from top level clubs this summer. It'll be as much up to him when he's sold as the club.

Bit churlish to call the Windass and Diame goals lucky. It's the kind of thing they practice all the time. We've scored equally great goals in the league plenty of times, are they all lucky too?

Churlish: rude, ill mannered". hardly, maybe better to say on my part "the goals had an element of luck associated with them". And yes we have scored similar in league games but sometimes some of those great shots have not gone in and we lost. Just saying. (LOL)

I did not see either play off final and if we get there this season have a mind to go. Its a long way to come from the West Coast of the USA and I have the 3 strikes and your out worry. Go all that way only see them lose. Big hangover the next day. Please assuage my doubts and tell me it wont be so Plum. If so I will go out and buy tickets(lol)

    There's no guarantees!

And yes, churlish probably was the wrong word, maybe ungenerous? No offence was intended.
On the goals I'll just leave you with a quote from the great Gary Player when it was once suggested there was a lot of luck in his game. 'You know, the more I practice the luckier I get'

That Sheffield wednesday game was one of the most one sided games I’ve seen, how we only won 1-0 I’ll never know (well there keeper had his best ever game so it was mainly down to that). Nothing to do with luck, they were crap and we played them off the park. They were the lucky ones in that it wasn’t a proper mauling.

Tan kind of hinted regarding Philogene that he basically knows the rough value of him as a player. Constantly mentioned Greaves as well. Its certainly in their plan

Bit puzzled on even the element of luck etc comment on Deanos goal , Frazier puts a lovely look up cross to the edge of the box and Deano having natural technique scores a wonderful volley . I reckon if you gave him that volley 10 times he would hit it similarly maybe 6 times . Yes every week there are shots that are unlucky and lucky - skill to hit a shot effectively is not luck it’s skill , unlucky are deflections wide or great goalie saves . only saying .
