Like I've said previously, it's a case of looking at the claims of the two sides and making a decision about what's more important. Is the minimal amount that this will bring into the government coffers and the foiling of the dastardly plans of a handful of rich people worth risking the livelihoods and ways of life of farming families? Personally, I don't think it is.
When the livelihoods and ways of life of people working in other sectors have been put at risk because a government thinks there is a benefit in doing so there have rightly been huge protests.
What makes farming different?
Might be they are up against Starmer and not Thatcher.then again maybe not.
