Shaw was in the PFA Team of the Year last year (I thought Baines had a better season, but still), so can't say he's overhyped. Plus he's 19!

I would also say, what a fantastic refereeing performance....spotting diving cheats, booking them and then sending off the most expensive (flop) player in the prem league at Old Trafford with Rooney shouting in your face was probably the best bit of refereeing I have seen.

That's just it. He is a good player. Not a great one. If supporters say he is rubbish, that's just football fan speak for him being a bit of a disappointment, in their opinion.
As a consistent critic of referees, I feel it important to give praise when it's due. Mr Oliver was undoubtedly man of the match last night. He got all the major decisions right, whilst resisting the clamour of the theatre of cheats..
Just been saying that they only have 16 players and they've had match congestion. Plus they have to take their play-off chances very seriously.
If Reading go on to beat Arsenal in the semi, that would really be the shock of the season IMO!!!
