Disagree Fats...will depend on what happens between now and then, but we may need the lift required from a positive result and a cup run. No one will be risked if carrying a knock, but I expect a strong Saints side and Ipswich will want to prove a point. Did we put out a weakened side against United in the Cup when we were in the lower league?

I don't think we played our strongest team when we played Man U in the Cup in 2011., but I agree, we should go for a long run this year, unlike Poch's paltry effort.

Au contraire....I think we might. Chance of an upset...top Championship club (may be PL next season) against a good PL side. There aren't many stand out matches in this draw,

Wimbledon v Liverpool, Accrington/Yeovil v Man United, Blyth Spartans v Birmingham, Dover v Crystal Palace. These games are the games BBC/BT will target for TV coverage.

we were in League 1.... when we were in the Championship, we put out a weakened team.

With a run of 6 league games and a cup game in December, Arsenal three days before and a league game away to Utd to follow that, Ron will change it up for sure.

If we beat Sheff Utd, I'd say so even more.

Bartosz was in goal against Man U in League 1, that counts as a weakened team for me!

Sounds like Ipswich will bring 4000 fans (3100 initial allocation), reckon we could get around 25k in with those prices & away following!
