Hartlepool have sacked their manager, Paul Murray, and their assistant manager after the loss in the FA Cup.

Well, he does have a point. The BBC have abused their own charter to some extent. And if anyone says... oh, come on it's only Hartlepool Utd v Blyth Spartans, then they've missed the point entirely.

I'd would hope Stelling would have said something similar about BBC bias if Shearer had gone into the Pool's dressing room.

Does anyone have a preference who we draw in the third round on Monday?

Home to Blythe Spartans would be good. We can handle the BBC being biased against us, even if Jeff Stelling can't.

Spurs at home. 12 years now since that magical night when we gave a thrashing to a Tottenham side led by our ex manager.

Sandwiched in between matches against Arsenal and Man Utd? Home to a L2 or non-leaguer please, where we can rest the whole first team but still win.

Would also give us a chance to check out some of the kids (and for more than just 20 mins).

A non-league team at home would be ideal.

A non-league team in general would be good, wouldn't mind it being away either.

At home, please. Be more restful for the team...don't want any more travelling than we have to.

Reading at home, so we can give Nigel a thank you from the fans for all the hard work he did here.

A non-league team away would be a nightmare. Do you realise just how good our pitch Nd most premier league pitches are? The risk of injury would be huge, let alone our lads just not knowing how to play in a **** pitch

Remember Pards' famous comment about how Southampton are a racehorse that doesn't like mud.

The difference in surface really makes it a different game.

In a way I'd rather have a non-league team away. It would make things interesting. Of course the BBC would turn up sniffing an almighty upset so we could get humiliated on national TV. A non-league team at home would be boring. A 15,000 attendance with a simple victory. If we are at home Liverpool or Spurs please.

We play PL sides every week...no interest for me. I want an easy run to the later stages...we are long overdue for a cup.
