Our kids can have the FA cup run this year, we cannot afford to stretch the 1st team any further. The sheffield utd game is beginning to look harder as the days pass! So unlucky with the injuries to the same area at the same time.

Agreed. If we go out, we got out, but we simply don't have enough players to run out the first team in every competition.

Don't agree. This is the fa cup! I would love to win the fa cup. If we have a poor Xmas and top 4 looks unlikely then we should go for it.

We're already into the quarter finals of the League Cup. I would love to win the FA Cup as well, but are we really going to start resting half our team in the league so that we can have a crack at the third round of the FA Cup, because that's basically what we'd need to do at this point.

I wish a few more of the big guys had drawn each other...get rid of a few of them. Feel sorry for some of the smaller teams...they'd rather draw ManU at Old Trafford for instance than a good Championship side. They will probably lose in both instances, but at least they'd have a great day out.

They'll probably have a good day regardless. A day out at any stadium is a good one.

Ipswich could see this as a good chance to progress...a team doing well in the Championship (with a view to promotion) must fancy their chances. We aren't exactly a struggling side, but they might hope to catch us out if we took them for granted or rested a few players (don't actually see Ron doing that). Glad it is at home.

McGoldrick and young Tyrone Mings will be up for it as they were with you guys earlier in their careers! To be honest this isn't a priority for us and as we have a smallish squad I can see Mick playing a few kids for this one.

Take yourself back to when we got promoted from the championship. Would we have been bothered about a third round cup tie away to a premier league team? When you've got a chance of getting yourself in to the rich leagues you'd be foolish to worry about a cup.

Expecting a win. No disrespect to Ipswich, simply because of their mentality due to their great position.

Ipswich shouldn't be taken lightly...a good Championship side should be considered as harder opponents than say a team struggling at the bottom of the PL. I'm wondering if we will be picked for TV. Two strong sides with the possibility of an upset is just what they like.
