I didn't read panic in gg's posts. More frustration at Southgate and his tactics and decisions, and concern that these apparent weaknesses in the manager will cost us against better opposition.

Strange, I read an OTT response to a win in tournament football. We weren’t good but we won.
If we don’t play well and win in tournament football then I’ll take it. Rather we didn’t play well and won than play brilliantly and lose.
There’s a mindset of winning and a mindset of not losing. Southgate’s is about not losing. Which involves usually losing.
He did it against Croatia and Italy.
If he keeps that mindset then we will lose again.
