Italy look a decent side, Turkey look awful no attacking intent, set up for the draw now it could easily be 3 or 4 against........
 
Italy 23 attempts on goal 7 on target
Turkey 1 attempt and that wasn't on target
 
Italy look very tidy.
You can go a long way on veing tidy.

Jorgdino and Immobile look good.

Turkey do not kiojy as good as I thought they would be

Italy now unbeaten in 28 matches......

No wonder they look so full of confidence.....

While the press have been bigging up Belgium, France and England for this tournament Italy have quietly been putting together a team that plays like a club team and has a great shape and movement. Mancini has done a great job moulding them into such a unit...

Italy have beaten a very poor Turkish side tonight. I don't think they'll look so clever against the better sides.

I’m a total Italophile and would love them to do well, but I agree. They have a good shape, organisation, effort and spirit by the looks of it. It’s great to have a 28 game unbeaten run, but a win and a draw against the Netherlands are the only big results in that sequence. If they come up against a team with similar spirit and organisation and better players - and there are a few in this tournament, including England - they will probably lose and change the way they play.

Mind you Greece won this thing without attempting to play football, simply through determination, as far as I can remember, and Italy look way better than they did.

On paper, the Turks have a decent team, all playing at good clubs across europe. I was surprised at their lack of fitness and enthusiasm. Italy were very well orgainised and played some great stuff, very positive. Its certainly another team to throw into the mix.

I thought Italy looked very good. Bossed the midfield and had this annoying habit of finding each other with a pass. The goals they scored were very good and only once did Turkey look like scoring but that was cut out by a very good tackle - which got high 5's.
I can see why Ray Wilkins fitted in so well out in Italy as the style (which hasn't changed over the years) seems to suit players that are more tactically aware.
Only hope that England can adopt the same habit of finding each other with passes when we play.
 
Switzerland getting on top just before half time. Although Kiefer Moore header took a fantastic save to keep out.

Not sure Wales plan of scoring on the breakaway is good.

Key game. Wales need to really go for it second half as a win here, and the confidence boost it would give, plus one over Turkey should be enough to see them through the group.
 
Embolo scores from a corner.. always coming. He looks a really good player. Sham after Ward had made such a great save previously.
..but well deserved tbh
 
Wales fading..but a great cross from Luton's Morell into box for a brilliant headed goal from Keifer Moore brings it back to 1-1.

Then Page takes off James, who is the only threat ...no idea..
 
Switzerland sit back to defend their lead and Wales pressure leads to a deserved equaliser from Moore. Not a bad result if it stays like this.

Joined this late. Swiss the team trying to win it. Though Turkey were crap yesterday I don’t think it’s guaranteed that they will be that bad again or that either of these teams will beat them.

Good result for Italy.
