I see Hector on the back of a German shirt. Is my first thought about the German player, or ex-Derby County's Kevin Hector, or Hector of Greek mythology fame.? Guess it's how old and educated I am. In truth it went:

1] Kevin Hector of Derby County
2] Hector of Troy
3] Hector the German player.

Personally I always think Hector's House.

I didn't see that one coming at all. Well done Croatia, that's opened everything up. On the basis of what they did to Turkey, I thought Spain were a class apart from every other side in this tournament. Clearly not.

Think it's down to the other official to spot if the GK moves off his line, rather than the ref. In fact I think that's their specific job when it comes to pens
