This is what I can't stand about ITV commentary. It's bad enough with Tyldesley's fawning commentary, but when Henderson received the free-kick along the ground he hit it straight above the keeper who easily tipped it over. To which Hoddle said, ...and England nearly scored again. I mean WTF.?

It's this ridiculous hype and over the top praise that makes people from other countries dislike England. If the commentators/pundits/journalists would just pull it back a few notches there'd be a lot of Brits from the other nations cheering for England too.

^ agree, I think Bertrand is just a class above rose. Rose is made to look good by Spurs' system, whereas Bertrand is actually just an exceptional full back.

I also am really impressed with stones tonight.
