Really think Lallana could be one of the ones cut, not sure he can offer as much as Townsend as a winger. He looks like a fish out of water in his role hes playing tonight, just seems to be running around like a spaniel after a ball down the park.

Completely disagree with this. I think he offers what he always has - he is such a classy player, that can unlock defences.
It's not his fault we can't keep possession.

He's a neat player granted, but he wouldn't be going as a possession player. That's for Dier,Drinkwater,Wilshere,Rooney and Alli to do. Sterling and Townsend offer much more of a threat on the wings and going foward than Adam does. I just don't see what he would bring coming on as a sub, because he won't be starting.

Gotta love big Fraser. Just doin his thing at his own pace constantly :D

Bertrand is currently proving that he is a better option than Danny rose for me.

What does Jordan Henderson actually do?

When they lay it back to Fraser to clear it, consider it cleared.

Bertrand doing his usual all-round good performance.

Henderson being bypassed. Wilshere also crap, but that''s barely worthy of typing it out.

I've bee watching since about 18 minutes (unfortunately). England have been ****. Australia passing it around us like they're Barcelona. Where's the midfield England!? Defence with some last ditch clearances too and up front we look like we've never played together. Classic England.

Fair play to Henderson for actually having a shot and getting it on target. It's nice for these competition winners to occasionally get given a moment to shine. (A bit like Kelvin Davis' son at his testimonial)

This is what I can't stand about ITV commentary. It's bad enough with Tyldesley's fawning commentary, but when Henderson received the free-kick along the ground he hit it straight above the keeper who easily tipped it over. To which Hoddle said, ...and England nearly scored again. I mean WTF.?
