"I think what you say is true. But I blame the men to a large extent. I
would never spend a lot of money on someone until I had lived with
them for long enough to feel reasonably confident.
In fact, thinking back, I had quite a few debts when I met my wife and
she got all her savings out of the bank (over 2,000 pounds) and gave
it to me. I met my wife when I was in my late 30s and I was finding it
pretty easy to meet women but she had a certain something that I felt
was different - and I love foreign women!
If I was unattractive to women I would go out of my way to change
myself rather than cheat by looking for someone who seems more
desperate than me."
