A new day but the same old rants and bites from the remoaners.

Todays competition is who is the most gullible.

Contestants are....
UB40 Teaboy
NSIS
Safespace Watford
PnP
Troggy Archers Road
Tourettes Tobes

may the most gullible win. <laugh>

Do you intend to post the exact same **** every day?

I reckon you need some new material, frankly.

"British lorry drivers undergo much more rigorous testing and monitoring than their European counterparts, experts insist.
The majority of UK haulage firms ask employees to sign a declaration, promising not to use technology when they are at the wheel.
Drivers risk losing their jobs if they are caught or seen on a phone.
But many foreign firms whose drivers travel to the UK do not ask for the same declaration.
Foreign lorry drivers are also free to drive in the UK without taking a test here.
The claims of lax testing standards elsewhere in Europe came after former England footballer Gary Lineker criticised the Daily Mail’s front page yesterday for singling out foreign drivers using mobiles at the wheel.
He tweeted: ‘Would never condone using a phone whilst driving, but to suggest it’s only foreigners is just so horribly wrong.’
Lineker last month faced a barrage of criticism for tweets branding as ‘hideously racist’ anyone daring to question the ages of young men arriving in Britain from the Jungle camp in Calais.
Mick Horton, owner of a British HGV training company, said: ‘The practical tests abroad are definitely not as rigorous or to as high a standard as here... in some EU countries they are only 20 minutes or half an hour.
'It means there will be sub-standard drivers on our roads, which is dangerous.’ "

Typical moron argument. Daily Mail never claimed that only foreigners use a phone while driving, they suggest that foreign lorry drivers are more likely to use phones while driving due to less rigorous tests.

Another straw man argument by one of the morons.

The whole argument is flawed.
1. Driving whilst using a mobile is banned across Europe including Poland where the fine is similar to here.
2. The driver involved in the death of that family was caught because there was an internal and external cab camera monitoring his actions, something almost unheard of in UK haulage firms.
3. The evidence is van and lorry drivers are twice as likely to break the law by using a mobile while driving than car drivers, regardless of nationality.
4. The number being caught has halved, whilst the number ignoring the law has rocketed, this is due to police cuts and a lack of traffic police.

There is no evidence to support the claim that foreign drivers are more likely to use a mobile whilst driving. The evidence is strongly stacked towards the drivers age being far more relevant as to whether they are likely to offend.

Its just like a football game Leavers FC v Remainder FC.

Like UTD v Liverpool

Leavers are winning 6-0
To be fair this forum (Premier league) would be dead without this thread.
It's dead with the thread, believe me. It started well but it's gone around in circles for 3 months

Watch the video and look what side of the cab he is driving on.
