Why not let people in that can do a job that we can't get British people to do but only if they have health insurance, accommodation and can pay for their children's education?

That's conveniently going to leave us with about ten people coming in a year. I doubt Ula would have passed that test.

Huge Tory majority in Richmond obliterated by Lib Dems running on 'soft Brexit' ticket ...and so it begins...

...meanwhile at the Labour party? ...likely pissing themselves laughing at Theresa May's continuing calamitous tenure. ... :)

Kustard making up a new definition of freedom of movement, which doesn't include the freedom, has nothing to do with a debate on the terms of Brexit.

How many winky faces are you away from winning?

You can freely come to live in the UK, IF you have a job, accommodation and health insurance.

So you still have freedom of movement if you have the above.

PS Wolverhampton says hello

To me, the result in Richmond is starting to show what was discussed a while back. Namely that people are tiring of extremist policies from the two main parties.

To most, it looks as though the Tory party has been hijacked by the far right wing. People like Fox and Davis, who resemble far too closely Farage and UKIP for a lot of people's liking. Plus May looks increasingly out of her depth. And many feel they are being railroaded by the Tories into a Brexit they neither voted for, nor want.

The Labour Party has been similarly hijacked by Corbyn and his bunch of 1970's throwbacks. He and his party are totally unelectable, and most people know it.

It's hardly surprising to see people voting for some more moderation politically.

Pretty sure Richmond Park is the sort of area where the Tories could normally expect to field a pig in a blue rosette and still win.

Muslim baiting Brexit voting Goldsmith just had a 23,000 majority overturned.

You'd think so but Lib Dems won it in 97 and held it in 01 and 05.

164 people voted for Christian Peoples, whatever that is. Monster Raving Loonies came fourth which is nice.

You are very wrong again.

Also Richmond was a big vote remain area. If the same thing happened in my area, the Tory would have won
