What do people on here think about the £370m taxpayer bill to refurbish Buck house for Lizzy and her band of scroungers ?

Personally I think the leeches should pay for it themselves, given that they've acquired most of their property and wealth off of the back of a land and asset grab from the rest of us.

Failing that, maybe the monarchy loving corporations that prop them up could pay for it via advertising. Buck house sponsored by News Corp, and Fox News. They could get Liz and Phil to wear 'The Sun' baseball caps for photoshoots.

A price worth paying.

I though they were just not taking as much off them as they normally do, rather than paying them?

As I read it, they generate a fortune for the economy, it goes to the govt, who give them some of it back.

It's costing us **** all, and we'll get more money from tourism as a result. The bigger scandal is why did they have to wait so long before they could do anything.

An alternative is that we withhold our EU payments for a month or so and use that to pay for it. <ok>

The royals as an 'economic benefit' is a myth. When you take into account all of the costs, according to Republic, they cost the UK taxpayer £334m per year.

The mother tongue of all those born in the USA should be English, or whatever perversion they claim to be English. Talking about a rapid increase in the mother tongue becoming Spanish is obviously an indication of change. Yeah, no **** it makes no difference to you, it's obvious you don't care for the individual cultures around the world and would just rather a globalised **** hole for all of us to **** in and pretend everything's normal. It's a problem because it increases the failure of assimilation.

And is all that fantastic music worth the alienation amongst the indigenous population? Is all that sport worth the increase in crime? Is all that delicious food worth the ghettoization within the inner cities? Are those educators worth the over flooding of schools up and down the country? Are those health professionals worth the waiting times for a an appointment with a doctor that by the time it comes around you're either significantly worse because you couldn't be seen sooner or your body has healed naturally after missing two weeks of work and struggling to pay the bills that month?

You can't force someone to have a certain mother tongue. If two Britis live in Spain and have a child together then they won't be speaking mostly Spanish to each other so the kid's first language will be English.

The second paragraph is just your Enoch Powell impression.

Oh the irony. All you know about me is the misinformation snidey spits at you and you swallow so eagerly. You 100% dumb ****! <cheers>
<laugh>

In all honesty, I am arguing against anything NSIS says, simply for the sport. That you share the same views as him means I have to argue against you as well if the game is to stay alive :p

Has brexit had an impact? Yes of course it has.

Will we be better off out of the EU in the long term? I think so. I hope so.

The EU is going to collapse and we will fair a lot better on the outside when it happens.

Keep your eyes open for our Brentford scheme. Once the funding is sorted it could prove to be a little sweety for the early birds. LCI South could also prove to be a diamond in the rough, especially for those buying the studio suites :emoticon-0103-cool:

The sponsorship deal or Liz putting her hands in her own pocket ?
£370m is essentially a weeks worth of contribution to the EU. This is worth what we get in return, which is a continuation of our traditions, another layer of cement to our culture and Monarchy abolitionists getting BTFO. Besides, this renovation would be necessary regardless of the Royal family, unless you want the damn thing knocked down and turned into a refugee centre?

Of course you could, it's called enforcement of a strict immigration policy. Two Brits shouldn't be living in Spain and having children if they can't speak Spanish, especially then if they expect that child to go to school there.

Is that another one of your stock replies?

Depends how you do the maths. The trade we get from regions after a state visit is no drop in the ocean.

Even if yours is true, they're worth every penny. It's part of our history and culture.

Too many are too quick to forget that.
