Dipped in and out of this thread over time, and I wonder after almost 800 pages of debate/abuse etc. Has anyone changed, or come close to altering their stance on Brexit, albeit for or against?

No.

Wrong decision at the wrong time. And, as has now become clear, largely for the wrong reasons!

It's far from unfounded!..

The economy has slowed, and will continue to slow. Inflation has risen, and will continue to do so. Obviously, the timescale of what's happened, and will continue to happen, is much more difficult to gauge due to nobody having the slightest idea when, if, or what kind of Brexit there will be.

As for diversions, deflections, etc. For you to start accusing others of what you are perpetually guilty of yourself, is nothing short of laughable!

You've been making similar claims right from the start of these threads, and had to readjust it as the timescales came and passed.

Simply claiming something for the future has no substance from someone with your record of predictions and habit of ignoring the impact of wider global events.

The closest you've been to accurate is when you say you don't know, which helps make my claim.

What you also repeatedly ignore are all the others issues that brexit is about, as you're fixated on the economy.

No matter what else happens, there's been a big wake up call to many, and the US elections reinforced it. It's madness to ignore it. If the powers that be do, there'll be more chance of others coming out of the EU too.

As for the deflections, if someone is arsed, they could go back and check your replies over the past month or so. :emoticon-0105-wink:

And you're waffling a lot of ****, as per usual.

The economic effects are being felt now, and it's only just started. Wait until Brexit becomes more of a reality.

Yes, there has been a lot of dissatisfaction, but if these people really think that charlatans like Farage & Trump are the answer, we're in more trouble than I thought!

Feel free to go back and find my so called 'deflections' yours are on every page!..

I don't need your permission to re-post your many posts that are nothing but abuse. My suggestion was that anyone wanting to see who is trying to stay on topic, and who is making a fair percentage of posts with nothing but childish abuse, need only look back and check.

As for your 'defense' you're simply making the same claims you've made from the get go, and moving the date as your prophesies fail to materialise. I've posted a few links that contradict your base position, but you seem to skip over them and go off into stressed out abuse mode, and no, I'm not raking back to post them again.

You also keep missing the argument that remain wasn't an option, so comparisons before and after are flawed anyway. The EU is having to change in a way it wouldn't have done had we voted to stay, and global events have a big influence. Not all negatives are linked to brexit.

All of which misses the fact that the economy is one part of the much wider issues of brexit. The key one is that the brighter politicians, economists and media have had a wake up call, some refuse to see the problems and just apply a logic that's similar to pollsters insisting that their polls were right, it was the electorate that voted wrong.

How about "Racist pussy acts hard on internet forum"

Or

"Keyboard warrior cries obsession despite years of ridicule as bigot in the real world"

I like the second one slightly more :)
Nope, I was actually the one who was threatened, multiple times by two different individuals. I think @Hull City AFC (DMD) was too.

My accusations of Paco being obsessed with me is down to his sophomoric replies to what I'd say is a majority of my posts.

Felt left out, so I bought my first ever copy of the Daily Mail. Must have been a reasonably slow news day for Brexit as I got to around page 16, before starting stories with an anti EU twist. As I don't mind cricket and rugby, thought the sports pages were pretty good.

Why buy it, just look online

No one is obsessed with you. They just find your white supremacist fruitcake views ridiculous and about eighty years out of date.

More of the usual bollocks..

WTF are you babbling about? You don't need my permission!? I've invited you to show me where I've diverted a topic of discussion deliberately, as you constantly do.

Has growth declined since the referendum? Yes, it has!..

Has inflation risen? Yes, it has!..

Those are facts...

These effects will continue, they have merely been slowed up by public perception that nothing much is happening. I stick by my forecasts that growth will continue to slow. Investment in the UK will also slow. And inflation will rise.

Remain want an optimistic want an option for you, so you arrogantly presume that it wasn't an option. Arrant rubbish!..

The rest is just your usual meaningless bollocks. I truly have never encountered anybody who can say so much, without actually saying anything!....

It's always useful to know how people with opposing views think, in my opinion.
Not enough politicians do it and the media attempt to stop everyone else doing it.

Calling you a vile, racist piece of **** is just factual.

And stop trying to use big words to impress. Sophmoric?...pretentious twat...
