Dipped in and out of this thread over time, and I wonder after almost 800 pages of debate/abuse etc. Has anyone changed, or come close to altering their stance on Brexit, albeit for or against?

Doesn't seem like many others agree. Otherwise they'd vote for him. He's a single policy man and that's something he capitalised on. That's about it.

Selective use of statistics Working age is 16- 67. Obviously the number does not include pensioners who pay tax, and as we are constantly told, this number is rising. It will include those still at school or at university and not working. Those not paying income tax are paying VAT, Council Tax and fuel duty etc. mostly as a higher percentage of their income than the highly paid.

How about "Racist pussy acts hard on internet forum"

    Or

"Keyboard warrior cries obsession despite years of ridicule as bigot in the real world"

I like the second one slightly more :)

It's unlikely. The remoaners offered a bit of substance by way of predictions of economic doom early on, but after that's been shown to be unfounded so far, they just limit themselves to childish personal abuse and diversions, or dismissing any points raised for any excuse relating to the 'source' they can find.

If you don't believe me, watch. They'll no doubt reply like that to this, rather than offering a substantive argument. I think deep down, they can see their ideology has failed.

WatfordR and Bodanki expressed concerns about the kind of Brexit that we were heading towards before Gina Miller stood up for democracy.

Other than that it's as you were.

    It's far from unfounded!..

The economy has slowed, and will continue to slow. Inflation has risen, and will continue to do so. Obviously, the timescale of what's happened, and will continue to happen, is much more difficult to gauge due to nobody having the slightest idea when, if, or what kind of Brexit there will be.

As for diversions, deflections, etc. For you to start accusing others of what you are perpetually guilty of yourself, is nothing short of laughable!
