True to form Pete proves how sad and pathetic his presence on this thread has become.

You'd think so in any other circumstances, wouldn't you?.

But, having been here since he started posting on this subject, I'm afraid to say the old dinosaur is for real

The fact that he sells Halal meat is irrelevant to the Mail <laugh>

They'd rather use the anecdote to frighten flag waving old biddies that the darkies are coming to invade their area next - and you're paying for it!

Should people be free to live where they want? Yes or no?

Thanks for the help Custard, I did realise my mistake and corrected it as quickly as I could. Obviously not quick enough for a sharp brain like yours!

Given your views on immigration, your answer would have to be no, wouldn't it?

It's not a yes or no question. Should you be allowed to live in Buckingham Palace if you want to?
Largely yes though, within reason. If someone doesn't like the area that they live in, then they're free to move.
If people are bigoted against the local community, I think that's a perfectly good reason to leave.

I was referring to the issues raised in the article. Therefore, I meant in their own country.

The butcher's from India, so not really, eh?

I assume that you mean the UK too, not just one country. Maybe not, though.
Are you for or against the free travel of British people?

So he assumes that because if you're not white it's not their country <doh>

Despite the article saying that the area had been populated by people of Asian origin since the '60's, so we're talking about 2nd and 3rd generation Brits who happen to be of Asian decent.

    Bigoted old fool

I don't think he's saying that, to be fair to him.
He's saying that people should be free to move away from whoever they want, as long as they do it in their own country.

If he's saying that then what does he think are the issues raised in the article that he referred to?

The Mail is coming at it from the angle that there's no honkies in the area as they've all done one due to the Asians moving in. If that's just 'free choice' to him, then what's the beef?
