I think one of the none Icke pictures mentions a remain experts predictions.
As far as I can tell, it's largely the remain voters that took any of the ****e claims seriously anyway, and they seem to have hung on to it ever since, despite being told it didn't influence the vote that much.

Virtually all of the reasons that I heard for leaving were either utterly stupid or completely false.

It seems to say more about the company you keep than much else.
Most I know voted out of the EU because they never wanted to be in it in the first place. A common market's one thing, the monster it evolved into was something else, and undemocratically cost a lot of control, jobs and income There is an argument that it was illegal in how it was initiated.

No, it doesn't. I deliberately seek out views that are different to my own, so that I can understand why people hold them.
All that I've seen from Leave voters has been nonsense, frankly. They've been duped by a bunch of ultra-rich arseholes.

The grants from the EU I've been involved in and aware of, largely come with strings, often to such a degree that people find it's not worth applying. The fishing quotas decimated communities. changes to our benefits system were blocked by Hungary.I could go on.

The fishing quota's a great example, as it's a total load of bollocks.
Even if you ignore UKIP's contribution to the whole thing, which involved never voting, our government sold the rights off.
Will leaving the EU improve those quotas? Nope. Not going to happen.
Most people wanted out because they had no idea what the EU actually does, thanks to our media.
The amount of times that I heard of a complain against it and then found out it was down to something else entirely is ridiculous.
The EC, the ECHR, our own government, the UDHR and the UN were common sources of confusion.
Righty ho, you know my own first hand experience and motives better than me, and the people I know are just making up their reasons too, despite them being involved with EU issues at various levels.
Not feeling they're listened, and being spoken down to are other oft mentioned reasons too.

People didn't feel listened to because they elected a bunch of UKIP MEPs who literally didn't do anything.
We had representatives attending to prevent anything from happening and interfere with the whole process.
They felt talked down to because they listened to utter pricks in the media who lied their arses off for years.
Is the EU perfect? No, of course not. Could it do with some changes? Definitely.
The same is true of our own parliament as well, but we shouldn't chuck that out, either.

Exactly. I posted a mini survey that Bloomberg did in Sunderland, which voted heavily in favour of leave, to ask why people had voted as they did and how they felt about it now.
The gist of it was that most did not really have a clue what they were voting for, they just thought that it's got to be better than what they've got.
Whilst it's sad that some people legitimately feel that hopeless about their future, it's even sadder that most now realise that nothing has changed and nor is it liable to.

Claiming victory seems to be the only argument that Brexiters have, now that the campaign's over.
Half of them ran for cover and the rest are asking everyone else to clean up their mess.
