I give Newcastle the best chance to stay up Taff .
To me the West Brom vs Norwich game is critical to our comfort level .
If Norwich lose that game then either Newcastle or Sunderland will be on the most 25 points after their Game against each other . Sort of hoping Newcastle win because they have a game in hand . In this scenario either Norwich , Sunderland / Newcastle have to average just over 2 points from their remaining 8/9 along with us getting no points along the way . Good chance were safe if Norwich lose to West Brom .edit ....the 2nd last line is totally wrong , I'll leave it as proof stupidity exists .But , we still could be safe without getting a point from here

This is going to get rather interesting, with both Sunderland and Newcastle picking up points, the permutations are intriguing, could Swansea and Palace get dragged into the equation?

It is actually going to go down to the last game I think. I fear for Norwich and then it is one of the NE sides.
Norwich have Man utd at home and Everton away, be lucky to get a point.
Newcastle have Villa away and Spurs at home. I would expect 3 for them.
Sunderland have Chelsea and Everton at home and Watford away, no idea what they will get.

I think it will be Norwich and I think Newcastle for the last 2 places.

I don't know how many times i have said now that Arsenal was my favorite team after the swans dragon <doh> If i was to support a scouse team then it would be Everton not Liverpool as my Grandmother was born there in 1889 close to where the Evertons ground is now...<laugh> You don't half get things wrong aye <ok>

Agree Norwich are down with Villa, and it looks like Newcastle will be the 3rd team, Sunderland look like making the great escape again........ <ok>

Everton, Watford and Chelsea hold the key to the top and the bottom.

Everton have to play Leicester, Norwich and Sunderland.

Watford also have to play Norwich and Sunderland (and someone else)(Liverpool)

Chelsea have to play Tottenham, Sunderland and Leicester.

And then there were 3. In theory Crystal Palace can still get relegated, but due to their goal difference that seems very unlikely. With Aston Villa already relegated its down to two of the three teams below to get relegated, so at least one of the NE teams will be falling through the trap door.

PL Table
17 Newcastle Played 36 -- Points 33 -- Goal Difference -25
18 Sunderland Played 35 -- Points 32 -- Goal Difference -18
19 Norwich Played 35 -- Points 31 -- Goal Difference -26

Remaining Fixtures

Sat 7 May 2016 - Sunderland v Chelsea 15:00

Newcastle are the only team that will win this coming Saturday...................<ok>

Chelsea looked back to their best against Spurs, they will thump Sunderland, and Manu will finish off Norwich................<laugh>

i think Norwich and the toon will go down myself but im hoping for the two North east teams get the drop....
