I have Sunderland to go down, but Newcastle had one hell of a thumping at Chelsea and look absolute crap at the back, they could well replace sunderland, and I have to say as bad as our defending has been this season, it was never as inept and bad as the Toon. Thank the football gods there are 3 worse teams than us..........<ok>

Hope so but this is the paper that said we were mad to get rid of monk <laugh> We need a hell of a turnaround and a good slice of luck to get anywhere near 38pts ...I can see 32 maximum so lets hope the WOL are right....

Looking very much like the final 3 are:

    Newcastle
    Norwich
    Villa

Sunderland look to pull off another great escape, talk about 9 lives, we are still not safe yet though, depends if Guido's chest clears up I suppose.......:emoticon-0103-cool:

Rafa is a fantastic appointment. If he can't get them out of trouble nobody will.

We really need to beat Villa next Saturday - we don't want to start looking over our shoulders again....

There is an outside chance we already have enough points . If West Brom beat Norwich this weekend then after Sunday's games someone , either Newcastle , Sunderland , Norwich have to make up 9 points in 8 games to get by us .None of them have averaged a point a game so far little on make up more than a point a game .
That's with us not receiving anymore points the rest of the way , would take something special for us to get relegated .

The next 4 games will pretty much determine Newcastle's PL future - Sunderland, Norwich, Southampton, & Swansea

3 draws and a defeat (to Southampton) would leave them on 27 points after 33 games. Assuming we beat Viilla, and draw with Newcastle, we would be on 37points.
