Must admit I've been proved wrong with him. He was so awful when he joined it was unreal but he's come on leaps and bounds, definitely one of the best in the league.
He wasn't as bad as the media tried to make people believe. Sure he made a few errors early on, but he was still showing signs that he was a future world class keeper. He was just an easy target for the media because he was so young, and came with a hefty price tag. Had we signed a more established well known keeper and he had made similar errors, then a lot less would have been said about it. It really was a witch hunt against the poor lad, so it's great to see that he's proving the critics wrong time and time again with his performances.
De Gea could still improve a little bit on his decision making, though that will come with experience, but his reflexes and diving are better than any other keeper in the PL
