It was written partially in jest ("tongue in cheek" the author wrote), but the core of the sentiments expressed are those felt by every Spurs fan that I have been in contact with, including those on this site.

Unlike Mouser and Gooners, we do not slavishly follow the whims and dictates of our chairman simply because "he's a Spur!" We are not deluded, and we are not mugs, unlike the majority of the fans from those clubs I have mentioned.
<ok>

Spanners and Saints fans are rapidly closing in on Gooners and Mousers, getting far to above their stations, for my liking. It is a worrying trend, because I dare say that, soon, we'll have Palace fans following suit.
Now that you are starting to appreciate just how irritating the lesser club's fans can be when they dare to leave the shadows, perhaps you'll be a little more respectful (deferential) when conversing with us Gooners in future?

I show respect to those who are deserving of it, not slavishly to a class of people.

I do enjoy the Daily Arsenal.

It does make me laugh him leaving barbed comments and quite a few Arsenal fans chomping away!

Durham doesn't have it his own way all the time; I've heard Gough have a good old pop when bias and spite become too overbearing.

He is a spud so naturally he bottled it. He got pulled up by a few fellow spuds and back pedalled.
Yes, Spurs fans have a habit of failing to back up their words, don't they?

In a totally unrelated story, Arsenal fans organised a protest against the club's lack of activity in the transfer market yesterday.
Nobody turned up.

Well, it's either that or they treated it like a match day.
Turned up late, left early, made no noise at all in the middle and nobody realised that they were there until the post-event moaning.

I'm guessing you don't know what an oxymoron is do you.

Your abject paranoia is one thing, but your level of ignorance trumps even that.

Who'da thunk it possible? :eek:

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson says Gunners fans are entitled to feel cheated by the club's lack of activity in the transfer market.
(Sky Sports)

Even Arsenal legends are turning on Wenger, now!

I cannot say that I am at all surprised.

Karim Benzema has reiterated he is happy at Real Madrid and says there was never any truth in speculation he was planning to leave the club in the summer. Arsenal had been strongly linked with the 27-year-old French striker.
(Evening Standard)

So, it was all a massive wum!
<rofl>

They're all at it!

Arsenal left-back Nacho Monreal, 29, says the Gunners have the mental strength to win Wednesday's Champions League match against a Dinamo Zagreb side who went through last season's Croatian league season unbeaten.
(Independent)

Jesus! Talk about putting unnecessary pressure on yourself, your club, and your manager!
<doh>

What if they lose, now? Monreal is going to look like an absolute knob-head!

Arsenal lose their opening game of the CL in their group, to one of the ****tiest teams in the competition!

I think this calls for a little dance from the Yid Army!

Not one of the regular twats and he's better than normal. Looked like he was going to explode at one point, though.

I feel this guys frustration, Wenger bends over backwards for Maureen time after time after time.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has declared his love for rugby union after swapping tips with France's World Cup squad.
(Guardian)

That's France ****ed!

But he wouldn't start them in the team !

instead he would pick a midget full back who would drop the ball over the try line to let Iceland score the winning try under the posts ffs

Sheffield Wednesday 3 v 0 Arsenal

No, I am not making this up! That is an actual score-line!

It is, undoubtedly, the most embarrassing score for a Prem club since LFC lost to Brentwood Town!

None who loves the beautiful game can not feel soiled after tonight's debacle.

Yet again, AFC has made us all ashamed to be English.

I'm off to have a shower.
