Root got a good ball early in his innings. Brook was a tad unlucky with his dismissal. The rest pretty much threw their wickets away.

Hmm, India did only score 150 in a test match here in their first innings and went on to win the match.

Smith and Labuschagne showing England how to bat when the new ball and fresh bowlers are making things tricky.

Our bowlers looked just as threatening as the aussies over the first 10 overs yet rather than play stupid shots and get out, they have been patient and are slowly building a score.

There's an argument that they've gone too defensive. 29-2 off 15 overs is not ideal. 50 or 60-2 would have them in a strong position.
