Now the bowlers have to bowl out Aus for less than 250 for us to stand any sort of chance. They knew the boundaries would be bigger. They knew the pitches would be faster and bouncier. Root got a good ball early in his innings. Brook was a tad unlucky with his dismissal. The rest pretty much threw their wickets away.

 

7 batsmen scoring 13 between them.

 

Hmm, India did only score 150 in a test match here in their first innings and went on to win the match.

And you should always try to reserve judgement until both sides have batted... but that said, the manner of dismissals really does suggest a lot of it was our own undoing rather than the pitch.
