That batting effort from Worcs is nothing shot of heroic. 200 overs batted in their second innings to save the game. Incredible.
Completely gutted. I blame the wicket, only 26 wickets in 4 days and 14 of them on Day 1!
True, but we should be top after that innings by Banton. We’ll probably lose him to the Test team now, it would make sense. I wonder how many first class triple centuries have been made by a player batting at no. 5?
Turner's going out on loan to Lancs for 2 games in Div 2. Probably a wise move and hopefully he can recover a bit of form and confidence before coming back to us to compete with Wheal and Baker for his spot.
Looking at the Hants squad named for tomorrow, I would suspect an unchanged team. Albert will get another chance I would think after his poor performance against Yorks and TBH, he's the only player under any sort of pressure.
