With bat and ball, these last 24 hours have really been him sticking two fingers up at the previous decisions to first drop him down the order, and then drop him from the team altogether.

Yes, I still think that a Holland/Middleton combination is the best of a bad lot, in a way. We can only choose between who we have available. Don't get me wrong, on their day they can make good scores, just not consistently enough for a really top team. Holland has the added advantage of bowling some useful overs (like in this game) so adds more than Weatherley I think.
Organ should be left down the order, if they want a second spinner, in my opinion and I would also like to see Dawson back at 5 and Brown back to 6 or 7.
