TBH I can't rule out the possibilty of us starting our 2nd innings tonight. If we get bowled out quickly Surrey will go into attack mode and they may only need 20-25 overs to get a lead they feel comfortable defending.
 
Why did Fuller need to throw it away like that? He did well to get to the follow-on mark but could have calmed down again and helped Potgieter add another 20-30 perhaps in a 'normal' manner against the new ball
 
Well done, Potgieter. He might not be a top level overseas player, but he's already been miles ahead of Yusuf.

I'm fine with it. I don't think it's a slight on Abbott - if he had been batting at 9 or 10, I suspect we would be taking them. But when you're 9 down and you have a batter on 50, I'm fine with him wanting to face as much as possible.
