Just winning a game at the Oval is good enough for me. But the NRR boost is an added bonus (from 0.466 to 0.676).

Not often (if ever) that Dawson ends up playing as a specialist fielder. Didn't bowl a ball, or face a ball.

If we can win our two games against Gloucs, that should be enough to send us through regardless of what we do against Essex and Glamorgan. That would put us onto eight wins, and I don't think anyone has failed to qualify with eight wins before (if you ignore Leicester getting that points deduction last season). Even seven wins is almost always enough.

But it would nevertheless be nice to win at least one of those games against Essex and Glamorgan, just to be safe and hopefully get it done before our final group game.

Yeah I think I should see some action on day 4, especially with a fair chance of rain on Sunday.

Been into cricket for years but this is my first time actually going to watch live, apart from the last hour of a text in Bridgetown - Hollies seats for an Ashes test... not bad!
I think you're going to be in for an absolute treat with a **** day 5 forecast.

Entertaining cricket this morning right from the start some of it bonkers from Root. What a renaissance post captaincy he's having.
