It's a tricky one! The recovery is amazing, and still continuing, but you know that as soon as you start watching, England will revert to type and we'll lose our last wickets for four runs. I suggest that you follow things via the BBC web site text
I tempted fate and watched from 163 to close, more than happy with that. Held off the G&T stayed on the Palm beer and saw us through to the end of play.

Good stuff. Taylor is nothing special, so it was important that we went after him.
 
Need to be careful here, two new batters. What was looking like 180 might not even be 160.
 
I know he made 18 off 11, but that was a fairly painful innings from Whiteley. Never looked in form, and summed up by getting lbw to a full toss. Should have gone over the ropes!
 
I'm still yet to see why Ellis always comes in ahead of Wood.

I'm happy enough with that score. Not a worldie, but gives us something decent to defend.
 
I think I'm right in saying that Essex have just become the first side to take Narine for something in excess of the 20s.
