Alsop has now moved to Sussex on a permanent basis. A shame to lose a home-grown player, I remember seeing him as a substitute keeper for Michael Bates against Lancs (I think it was) in a one-day game before he could get to the ground to take his place behind the stumps, took a good catch stood up to Dimi. A very handy white-ball batsman, but, to be honest, wasn't ever really going to nail down a place in the Championship side.

Yeah it's a real shame to lose him for 50 over cricket. But he's no loss to Championship cricket.
 
The promotion of Hollman just didn't work at all.

Had the opposite impact tbh.
 
I like this from Vince too. We've got two guys bowling well, so letting them continue. No need to get funky with his decisions.
