I would think Hants will want a decent bowl tonight which means declaring soon after tea at the latest. Hants will want 550+ I would think before declaring (if we don't get bowled out) so that does involve shifting up a gear after lunch.
 
The door has just been slightly pushed open. Gloucs have a really solid top six (it's probably their best feature). But I'd tentatively suggest that they have a bit of a tail on them. So if we can get at least one more, preferably two, before the new ball...
 
Taking a punt that Middlesex will successfully chase 17, to get off the mark this season.

Been a shocking start for Surrey.
 
The supposed other good team in the group (Surrey) have put together yet another wonderful display of inept batting. All out for 130 against Middlesex's array of world class bowlers, leaving the latter with a mere 17 to get.
