I don't think there's any chance of Hants enforcing the follow on. Weather is good all weekend and Hants can just pile up a massive lead.
 
Still some way to go yet, but a second consecutive thrashing could be on the cards here. And if so, that would be a sensational way to start the season.

It's incredibly rare to see Abbott reduced to the junior partner. Such a mouth-watering prospect that we're seemingly no longer almost wholly reliant on him to carry our attack. Best opening attack in the country? It's certainly a candidate.
 
Good thing is the two top order players who didn't score much in the one innings we had against Leicestershire, Northeast and Holland, have both hit 2 fifties in this match and have chances of centuries. So all the top 5 batsmen (maybe apart from Weatherley) can be considered in good form.
 
I appreciate Hampshire are building a lead and taking time out of the match but how much time and how many runs do you think they’ll need?
