Those Sri Alaskans are pretty cool.
Hampshire have signed Abbas for the first 2 months of the season. I feel a bit sorry for Leicestershire. First week in April and they'll have Abbott and Abbas bowling at them.
So unless we make any other signings (which I doubt), Hants should have a line up of:

Holland
Vince
Northeast
Donald
Dawson
McManus
Barker
Abbott
Crane
Abbas
Crane may be omitted at the start of the season for Fuller or Wheal but we've got 4 seamers in that line up as it is. I'm assuming Donald is fit after his injury but I think that should be our first choice side. I think there's good balance to that XI.

Very much depends of who they want to keep wicket.
They could give Alsop the gloves, drop him down to 7, and open with Weatherley.
Just need to keep fingers crossed that nothing goes awry with Abbott - eg he gets over here with enough time to quarantine.
Not just yet, with them batting last we still have a chance; providing that we clean them up when Anderson gets the new ball in 1 over ... which isn't looking likely now

I’m OK with this as I now want India to win the series 3-1. England are out of the running for the Test Championship final against New Zealand, so it’s down to either India or Australia qualifying. So India need to win or draw the final Test.
Yep - but he’s done enough to take it away I fear ..... what an innings .... would be nice if we could have someone get a score like that in the 2nd innings.

When I saw the team, I was worried that we didn’t have enough in the bowling armoury. Our problem is that our players don’t come up against really good spin bowling in the county game and we don’t have a really high class spinner. So we’re always going to struggle down in India, Pakistan, etc .....
And counties like Somerset get deducted points for preparing wickets where spinners can excel, so the exponents of the art are few and far between.
India 294-7 at stumps, lead by 89. England will do well to make this match last longer than 3 days.
