18 years since Australia last won at Edgbaston - in any format, against any opponent.

We've won 10 consecutive ODIs there.

Interesting that England ended up with the best NRR of any team, despite losing 3 matches.

Just goes to show that when we win, we invariably win big. Always a sign of a good team. (And equally, two of our three defeats were only by relatively narrow margins.)

Five more at home for Harmer. At least Yorkshire just made it past 200, which is better than most.

Warks have quite a long tail. So if we can get Ambrose quickly (or Hain), we'll still have a newish ball to attack that tail with. And then getting them to FO becomes a real possibility (which is surely the way of getting a positive result on this wicket).

And there it is, thanks to a really poor shot.

Long tail, as I said.

It's not totally out of the question that we might bowl them out before lunch.

Go at 6 an over for 35 overs would give us a 430 lead with 12 overs at them tonight (108 overs at them in total).

11 overs at them tonight. Slow innings from Northeast, compared to the rest, meant that we didn't quite manage to go at the 6 an over rate I was looking for. But still a decent position.

One wicket tonight would be decent, two would be great.

Really need to wrap this win up tomorrow, it would feel like a missed opportunity otherwise.

If there's one - very big - problem, it's the lack of a spinner. There was rough for Jeetan, and we've still got more of a day left. Plus of course a spinner operating from one end would really take the workload off of our seamers, who are no doubt taking to the field quite tired (other than Holland).

We might see a fair amount of Organ bowling, which is hardly ideal.

On a related note, Mushtaq has been at the ground for this match, working with Crane. His bowling has totally been off-colour since the one-day comp (which I guess explains his absence from this match), so hopefully working with Mushy with really help him.
